How Sea Sprite brings value… a case in Point

TLDR Sea Sprite brings value to clients by thinking strategically, solving problems, and creating a seamless, intention-based operating framework.

Point is a healthtech company that enables people to live more optimally by powering the future of smart living, which opens the door for more moments.

They work with developers and companies in the Health Data Utilization vertical to enhance and empower their product offerings by facilitating personalization at scale through integrations, infrastructure, and intelligence.

In 2022, the company had made a lot of traction with their offering and funding, yet was experiencing growing pains that are common at that stage – lack of a long term roadmap, organizational alignment, and frameworks to drive scale efficiently. They were seeking more agency + accountability and direction across the team.

Point engaged with Sea Sprite to focus on improving internal operations/alignment, creating an intention-based set of organizational goals, and crafting a cohesive brand architecture and identity to leverage for sales and marketing efforts.

Here’s how the process went, as shared by Co-Founder and CEO, Kingsley McGowan.

How did Sea Sprite, and its founder Michelle L. Shuffett, MD, help Point achieve its goals?

Throughout the engagement, Michelle demonstrated a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by startups, an ability to think strategically and creatively to solve problems, and acted as mediator and/or facilitator across various teams.

By using an intention-based approach, Michelle first understood our vision and goals and from there helped us to align our operations and branding to match it. This first step proved pivotal as the groundwork then enabled us to then move through the operational framework’s Michelle introduced in a really seamless way.

Where did you see the most impact from the Sea Sprite, intention-based approach to business blueprinting?

One specific area where Michelle made a significant impact was in improving our internal operations. Michelle helped us streamline our processes, introduce OKRs, and tailor our overall internal and external comms process resulting in a more efficient and effective organization.

Additionally, Michelle played a key role in rebranding our company and refining our messaging to better target our desired audience.

What was it like to work with Sea Sprite?

Michelle is a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with. She is highly intelligent, analytical, and has an excellent ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. I highly recommend Michelle to any company looking to improve their internal operations, scale their organization, and enhance their branding/marketing efforts.

Working with the Point team was a highlight for Sea Sprite in 2022! It’s great to see the team align on common objectives, and begin to achieve them! Case in point, they’ve recently signed 8 new clients and have a strong pipeline in play for 2023.

Does this type of approach intrigue you? If you are ready to get clear, let’s talk!
